Members of the KAPP & PARTNER Rechtsanwälte GmbH participated at the GGI World conference
in Vienna, Austria 19 – 21 October 2017.
Mario Kapp chaired the Practice Group Meeting "Restructuring & Insolvency".

There have been many presentations related to interesting insolvency and restructuring topics. Lars Dueholm (LOU, Advokatfirma Denmark) together with Michael Lynge Hansen covered the topic “Early Warning within Europe”. The presentation dealed with an organisation which organises help and support for companies with (in)solvency issues. Furthermore, Leslie Berkoff (Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, USA) gave a presentation about “Chapter 15” in the US. The presentation offered an overview about this type of bankruptcy and previous experiences in the field of cross-border insolvency cases.

In the practice group Real estate (chaired by Paul Simmons) our "KAPP Team" (Mario Kapp, Eva Pany, Raffaela Lödl, Adelheid Stromberger) introduced the purchase-process regarding property in Austria, including tips for overseas buyers.
